Data Collection

We identify plumbing businesses through Google Maps, then visit each company's website using a headless browser that simulates a real visitor. Every site is checked for speed, security, lead capture, trust signals, SEO fundamentals, mobile experience, and content depth.

Scoring

Each website receives an Plumbing Website Index score from 0 to 100 based on six weighted categories: Speed (20%), Trust (20%), Lead Capture (25%), SEO (15%), Content (10%), and Mobile (10%).

Sample Size

This report is based on 57 plumbing websites, of which 57 received in-depth audits with 100+ data points each.

Limitations

Our audits measure website quality, not business quality. A company with a low-scoring website may still provide excellent plumbing service. Scores reflect online presence only.
